VT switching issue on netbsd-5.1_RC3

Hi guys,

Not sure if I'm being stupid here (which is entirely possible), but 
having updated my
netbsd-5.0 machine to 5.1_RC3 with the binary snapshots I'm no longer 
able to
switch VT once X has started. Switching works fine without X running.

When I try switch to the first VT for example it prints up the letter 
';5P' in my X
console. Any ideas?
