If mention is made of grub, it should also be noted that grub users will
want to put COMPAT_OLDBOOT into their kernel to make it easier to boot
with grub (grub doesn't grok the new boot style). FWIW, I use grub to
boot four OSes (Win2K, Linux, NetBSD, Solaris) off a single disk...
