Log Message:
De-emphasize "alpha" label on stable branches.

While we don't make hard stability claims, branches like netbsd-6 are
extremely stable, in that the odds of updating, successfully building,
and the conditioned on that a binary upgrade going bad are very low.
So don't use the alpha word, which implies that things are really not
ok.

Be more careful about maintenance (stable and security) branches, and
about minor vs teeny releases.

Adjust version numbers to be more recent.

Drop link to nonexistent ftp sources for security branches.
