I always sync the complete tree, never single packages.
Hm, funny: I still have release 1.321 of mk/bsd.prefs.mk, but "cvs
update" does not report this, neither as outdated nor as a conflict.
Even "cvs diff" does not report a difference. But if I move the file
away and check it out again, I get the current version. The timestamps
seem to be okay:
$ ls -l bsd.prefs.mk*
-rw-r--r-- 1 pkgsrc software 21095 Jul 2 17:49 bsd.prefs.mk
-rw-r--r-- 1 pkgsrc software 20684 Jun 12 10:06 bsd.prefs.mk.old
$ diff -u bsd.prefs.mk.old bsd.prefs.mk | more
--- bsd.prefs.mk.old Tue Jun 12 10:06:28 2012
+++ bsd.prefs.mk Mon Jul 2 17:49:41 2012
@@ -1,4 +1,4 @@
