We are in a freeze, which means no new packages. This was announced on the public lists, our private pkgsrc committers list, in the IRC channel, and on http://www.pkgsrc.org/is-a-freeze-on/. Please check your subscriptions to see how you missed this.
I do apologize. I have been extremely busy this week and forgot that a freeze was announced. I saw the line in the CHANGES file but by then the damage was done.
We won't bother with a backout this time, but please ensure next time that the rules are followed so that it is fair for everyone.
I promise to be more careful in the future. In a sense though, this was an update from 1.x.x. It is only a new package because the file format is incompatible and I wanted to allow people to continue running the older version.
