I haven't identified the root cause yet, but I have strong feeling that the
problem lies in libc:
- NetBSD 5 doesn't have it;
- DragonFly doesn't have it;
- NetBSD 5.99 doesn't have it in some versions;
- there were changes in readdir area recently.
