Firefox-48.0.2 freezes the same way when attempting to print.  This would
seem to indicate a different cause.

The only significant change to my setup that would affect the older
firefox package was the addition of "-dbus" to my PKG_DEFAULT_OPTIONS.
I have eliminated this option and am rebuilding.
