Hi, I've seen the same.

I believe jakllsch@ was working on an update. This is non-trivial
because rust changed their build system, and also introduced a
circular dependency (rust requires cargo to build, cargo requires
rust to build).

If you are interested in rust, it is possible to install it
on NetBSD and others outside of pkgsrc using the rustup shell
script. Although the website will not immediately tell you that
it works.

(It's basically a binary package :()
