I noticed that the distfile from archivers/lha is no longer available from the listed location, and the home page is also gone. I located another version of lha, which is even still maintained: https://github.com/jca02266/lha (My own copy of the distfile was dated Dec 15 2000). I've put a replacement package into wip/lha, because it's not an obvious drop in replacement: since it's maintained, it differs from the previous version. At the least, it has been reformatted somewhat. I checked all patches and as far as I could see, all of them were already applied, or obsolete, except for one which changes a call to utime(3) to utimes(2). I tried the result to extract a couple of .lha files I have around, and it seemed to work. There is no clear indiction of a version number, nor are there nice github release tags, so I've based my package on the most recent git commit. I'm afraid I don't read Japanese, so I can't say if there is maybe some clarity about this in a readme file. Any reason not to overwrite the existing archivers/lha with this, soon? -Olaf. -- Olaf 'Rhialto' Seibert -- rhialto at falu dot nl ___ Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on \X/ no account be allowed to do the job. --Douglas Adams, "THGTTG"
