I ran 'make test' on up-to-date libffi on macOS 10.13 and the tests are mostly (maybe all) failing. But they also failed with 3.3. Testing libffi-3.3nb5 on NetBSD 9 amd64: # of expected passes 2292 # of unexpected successes 2 # of expected failures 10 and libffi-3.4.2nb1 on same # of expected passes 2292 # of unexpected successes 2 # of expected failures 10 so something is wrong on macOS Also, not related, I am finding that TEST_DEPENDS are skipping building dependencies, fetching the distfile. And extract fails, but the build continues. Building this manually is ok. $ /usr/pkgsrc/devel/libffi > make test => Bootstrap dependency digest>=20211023: found digest-20211023 ===> Checking for vulnerabilities in libffi-3.4.2nb1 => Test dependency dejagnu-[0-9]*: NOT found => Verifying package-install clean for ../../devel/dejagnu ===> Checking for vulnerabilities in dejagnu-1.6.2 ===> Overriding tools for dejagnu-1.6.2 ===> Extracting for dejagnu-1.6.2 gzcat: can't stat: /home/n0/gdt/pkgsrc-current/pkgsrc/distfiles//dejagnu-1.6.2.tar.gz: No such file or directory ===> Patching for dejagnu-1.6.2 ===> Creating toolchain wrappers for dejagnu-1.6.2 ===> Configuring for dejagnu-1.6.2 => Modifying GNU configure scripts to avoid --recheck cd: can't cd to /tmp/work/devel/dejagnu/work/dejagnu-1.6.2 *** Error code 2
