NetBSD/Xen does not yet support MP domains, either 0 or U. Xen supports MP, and will spread your single-vcpu domains among the multiple real cpus, and you can run MP domU's of other OS's with the appropriate support (and MP HVM domains including NetBSD/i386). -- Dan.
