This would mean sharing the video adapter between the 2 OSes. I don't think
it's possible actually (this would need some clever tricks, probably
hardware-dependant).

Only vnd and rdesktop. But it should be possible to run vnc or rdesktop
full-screen in a X server in a virtual console, and another X server
with your xterms in another virtual console ...
