So you are trading one use case for another. With a change that is not
perfect as you yourself told us.

Your change changes the order of the RC scripts in a non-trivial
fashion. It is pretty obvious that you don't care what everyone else is
thinking as long as your pet problem is solved. *That* is what the
complain is about.
