Then things get messier. You should make atf-run report the effective
values of all configuration variables on a test program case, not only at
the beginning of the execution!
This is because the configuration of a test program relies first on the
user provided variables, second on the variables in the Atffile and third
on the variables of the test suite configuration. The last two rely on
the Atffile that exists on the directory containing the test program.
Pretty ugly, huh? I'm thinking of ways to clean this mess up, but they
are orthogonal to your feature proposal.
