Comment:

 This has been addressed in 6aa25b8d86bd92a304ec21edd1374f56077ea658 for
 the C and C++ libraries and in dba4e88c1b15423fd76a7a2197a547ebd36044d6 to
 add appropriate tests and modify the sh library.

 (FTR: This involved adding a "signal" exit checker to atf-check, to ensure
 that the C/C++ libraries are aborting in case of fatal errors.)
