Find -exit results in error

Hi,

I have noticed a problem with the find utility on NetBSD 5.0.1, 5.1 and current.

At the shell type:

find /etc -type f -exit

Then you will receive an error 
find: fts_read: No such file or directory

It is not documented in the man page.  I think there should be noting printed 
on the screen unless using -print or similar.

Have I found a bug.
