I applied the patch to 5.0.2 (hope that was right - it
applied cleanly) and rebuilt my xen dom0 target.

It hit a __kern_assert() in uvm_pglistalloc():403
called from xen_bus_dmamem_alloc_range():

(boundary & (boundary - 1) == 0) failed

Thanks for the explanation btw - that makes some
sense to me.  Hope this helps.
