 i also see this.  it seems worse on some systems than others.  i've
 tried a few various things to see what might be wrong but i haven't
 figured out anything useful yet.
 
 it seems to be something broken since new (5.6) drm2, though perhaps
 it would say it's actually just *much worse* and used to happen very
 infrequently.. this is perhaps bad memory, i do not have any data.
 (i should be able to test, though i am not sure when.)
 
 the same problem occurs with later radeon devices as well, and usually
 even worse.  i can use the 5450 mostly, but newer ones are to the point
 it is really not usable.  i think newer means R7/240, 7750, and another
 card i can't quite remember.
