fighting with ZTE usb-modem
Hi guys,
I've got EV-DO USB modem ZTE AC5710. When plugged in it presents itself
as cd-rom storage. I can mount and read it under netbsd.
I've read how similar ZTE modems were harnessed under linux: they use
some way to switch it to umodem mode: for that some just issue cd-rom
eject command, others use usb_modeswitch utility. Then they do modprobe
usbserial and it recognizes serial lines.
When I attempt to issue cdrom eject command nothing happens. So
question is: how can I force netbsd to recognize umodem/ucom?
