carp(4) and IPv6 NDP - MAC Address Discovery Confusion

All:

  Is anyone running an HA carp(4) pair on IPv6 ?

  My upstream ISP is reporting that, for both my HA Gateway, and my
  Physical interface, IPv6 NDP on his Cisco is returning the MAC address
  of my physical interface.

  In this case, my "phsysical" interface for carp(4) interface
  is actually a vlan(4) on wm(4).

  Should NDP discoveries for the CARP interface return the 00:00:5e
  prefix?

  Thanks, ~BAS

The ISP sees this on his Cisco:

  admin@SNS-PHX-MDC1-Texas> show ipv6 neighbors | match 189
  2607:f000:1::4      00:60:e0:44:99:14  reachable   20  yes ge-0/3/0.189
  2607:f000:1::5      00:60:e0:44:99:14  stale       407 yes ge-0/3/0.189

2607:f000:1::1-3 are his VRRP6/HSRP6 hosts. 4,5,6 are me.
