 Starting over from scratch has seen no recurrence of this, so it was
 ultimately a local issue.
 
 More to the point, don't mix stuff built with GCC 5.3 with stuff being
 built by GCC 5.4.
 
 (When -current i386,amd64 were first switched to GCC 5.3 I rebuilt from
 scratch as it was quite obvious that was necessary.)
