 Aha, so there are actually two issues here. You aren't getting the
 /usr/pkg/lib/libx265.so.192: text relocations
 message anymore, but there must be a separate problem with the Qt
 interface code. I don't use VLC, but I haven't seen this with other
 Qt5 applications on 9.x/i386 (I don't have an 8.x/i386 test environment
 anymore). I'll try building VLC on 9.1 and see if I can duplicate this.
