There is a problem when py-curses is built with `CURSES_TYPE=curses' on NetBSD (that's the default on netbsd-8 and -current) and unfortunately I wasn't able to properly investigate that. I have added a TODO about that. IMHO it's better to not import rtv before fixing that problem.
If you add this: .include "../../devel/ncurses/buildlink3.mk"then it will always use ncurses. That would guarantee that it works if built and you can still create a PR to allow it to use the system curses if you want.
