whether for WIP of for pkgsrc itself, IMO effort would best be
invested in automating mandatory tests on submission. I think this is
a more fundamental change that I think will bring substantial
benefits. IMO whether this is done on hg, git, cvs or whatever doesn't
matter that much. I have used Aegis on several projects and I think
principal ideas (by default, every change set added is accompanied
with an automated test evidencing progress, i.e. failing before the
change and succeeding after the change) it implements excellent.
