It looks like there is a problem with 24-bpp and GTK pixbufs, not 
necessarily ODROID-C1 specific.

Here is my ODROID-C1 with 24-bpp and 16-bpp framebuffers running gtk-demo

I've updated the fb driver to allow selecting both modes, and I've made 16 
the default. Let me know if this resolves your display issues.
