Updates:
- It wasn't ratpoison's fault. The behavior was same and weird on lxde.
- BTW I switched to vlc and looking at the CPU usage, looks like it is
using the GPU. So far the thermometer symbol has not popped up.
It does not make sense for Raspberry to continue to spend effort in a
media player when there are so many out there. omxplayer may be kept as
a reference implementation for GPU usage.
- This was on Raspbian. I do not know whether vlc is available on NetBSD
on RPI and whether it uses GPU.
