RE: info
Pete, is good to know that somebody else has-had the same problem and yes
I´m using a 40 pin IDE cable since the beginning of my project, Izumi, yes
the brick is connected to the qube (12v, 4.16a, 50w).
About how powerful the brick can be, Pete is running 2x3.5+1x2.5 hd´s, I as
maximum 4 laptop hd´s (less power hungry). Anyway so far both machines are
running, I´ll continue monitoring them to see if this problem cause any
fatal error or hardware dysfunction.
Thanks

Claudio,
I had a similar message to this when first experimenting - it's
partly to do
with the DMA negotiation. The cure was simple - I used 40 pin IDE cables
instead of the newer 80 pin cables, this forced the negotiation
to 'downgrade'...
Cheers,
Pete.
