Hi,

Today it is not possible to have any real use of NetBSD on MC16. It is
possible to change the kernel enough to boot NetBSD on MC16, but it
requires quite a lot of work. Once that work is done, the rest, net
drive, would probably work. The MC16 uses another chip than HP620 and
the Jornadas. It is a single chip instead of a processor with companion
chip as used by the newer designs. This means that the interrupts work
differently. I think it also lacks support for other than 5V PCMCIA
cards.

I was able to boot a stripped down, modified kernel on my MC16, but only
with an embedded miniroot. I was never able to use it to anything
meaningful. As of now, I have given it up.

BR,
Christer
