HP9000/705 hangs netbooting 9.2

Anyone has success running 9.2 on a 705?

It just hangs (see below). Waiting forever for scsi devices? I've checked VGA
output in case it switches from cereal to graphics, but that only shows
horizontal stripes.

Heartbeat continues to blink, nothing else is happening.
The hardware is fully functional afaict and currently runs OpenBSD.
