Re: HP 9000-800 series support?
Hi Chris,

I couldn’t find much about HP 9000-800 series support. Is there any, or is NetBSD not yet supported on the original PA-RISC server platform?
I ask as I have an HP 3000-917LX that’s (mostly) the same hardware as the 9000-807S, and I was thinking about using NetBSD to poke at why I can’t boot MPE…
can't speak about NetBSD, but looking at OpenBSD:
OpenBSD/hppa <https://www.openbsd.org/hppa.html>
The following systems are very unlikely to be supported since they
either have incompatible firmware (the 3000s) or almost completely
undocumented I/O subsystems (the 8x7s).
* HP 3000 900
* HP 9000 8x7 (F, G, H, I-Class)
Doesn't look promising... and I suppose now the time is a bit over with
the interest of playing with them. Or maybe some crazy here starts
hacking :)
