I used my own high-precision calculator, which shares no code with dc,
to compute that quotient, resulting in
1.000000000000000333066907387546925149234568192321820441818203981,
which agrees with dc's result as far as the latter goes, so I think the
"dc is broken" theory, never very likely, can be pretty much written
off in this case.
