OK, I'll just leave it enabled on my pkgsrc bulk build machine, it at
least let me over the bump caused by the Linux compat packages
earlier.

Arguably, the bump's real cause is a lack of robustness in the pkgsrc
tools -- pkg_add should never half-install a package, leaving it in
such a state that pkg_delete subsequently can't delete the package.
