The blue and white G3 works fine, no glitches. I have one of these  
running as a firewall, happily forwarding packets as we speak. Rock  
solid.

The install CD works right away. Just follow the tips in the INSTALL  
document. My logic board is a Rev. A (nasty ATA controller), but I  
didn't go into major problems.

I had to compile a custom kernel to enable ipfilter on a bridge  
interface and the ste driver for my D-Link 4-port Ethernet card, which  
uses Sundance chips.

I wish I had one of those 1U chassis that were made for G3's.
