That's an interesting observation, true...
The qbus is found, and the ethernet, but no disk controller at all. And it really should be, based on the output from 3.1.1

Based on your 3.1.1 system, root device there was ra1. If you are installing from the CD, that looks like it might have been ra0. Which also looks like the device you gave at the boot prompt (DUA0).
