In-kernel PPPoE issues

I have been using in-kernel PPPoE for FTTH on NetBSD 9.3 for a
while.  A few days ago, it ceased to work. Switching to rp-pppoe
from pkgsrc worked around the problem, hence I suspect some 
infrastructure change exposed a NetBSD PPPoE bug.

Here are the kernel messages. I also have network packet capture for
whoever is interested.
