print/ghostscript - "cups" option shouldn't be default?

Hi there!

I installed CUPS and ghostscript.  After adding my printer, trying to
print a test page yielded a strange problem that I had to appeal to the
cups.general forum [1].

At the end, it turned out to be a very simple problem.  The system was
lacking the pstoraster program, that is part of the ghostscript package
*if* it is compiled with the cups option.  I recompiled it with cups
support and it printed smoothly  :-)

It looks that enabling cups support creates just seven more files (among
hundreds default files), so why not just let it default?

P.S.:  Are there other packages that it would be interesting to have
cups support enabled by default?
