Hi Jukka,
thanks for the info. I wasn't sure since I used it to block some ip-s. 

Now I have the NetBSD-ipfilter (ipf.conf) in use - and will retire my
clumsy hosts.deny file. Its a single internet server, so the hostile
environment is just from outside.
