As I said previously, it takes two minutes to write a module that calls
arbitrary AML functions. If you tell me the methods that needs to be called,
I can do it for you.
Otherwise -- while I have nothing against someone porting the above to pkgsrc
-- I am still not convinced that such a tool is required. Just like writing
random stuff to hardware registers from userspace is not a good idea.
