kde4 issue

Hi
i ve  netbsd 7.0. on Xeon platform, i use pkgsrc2016Q1. i ve installed 
xfce4,
but i want to use kde4 because there are more programs written for it, 
Now i ve compiled kde4 and debuggin it, but the file 
/etc/kde4/kdm/kdmrc. is empty
or i read to the blog after search to google, i must to set a variable 
into file 'kdmrc'
this variable with terminal=true, and i saw there a lot of parametres 
into the file.
this the output :

dct-chanel$ startkde
$DISPLAY is not set or cannot connect to the X server.
dct-chanel$




i don t forgot to set kdm=YES into the file /etc/rc.conf.
May be i forgot to do something
how can i do for set X server for Kde4 ?


i ask me that can do to start kde.
