Yeap, saw that, and I still haven't found a boot syntax that will boot
NetBSD installed on my new disk. The bootloader doesn't like the
partitioning scheme that the installer lays down on the disk, or I
just haven't found the right combination yet.
Your iso trick on the front of the disk is nice, but why doesn't the
installer do this then? Or make a MS-DOS partition like OpenBSD does?
Or make the disk look like Mr. Pedersen explained earlier?
Like I said, if I find an easier way, I'll try to write something for
the FAQ. I don't know enough about Macs to know if what I'm doing is
only specific to the blue and white G3 or not.
I also tried putting in another disk (slave on the same bus) and the
thing didn't boot after that, so I have to find another way. I suppose
booting a CD and telling the bootloader where to find the kernel isn't
a bad idea, I might try that.
